About the Presenter
In the 1980s, Ian Farmer completed an IT Bachelor's Degree at Monash University, witnessing the transition from batch processing to real-time processing and the advent of relational databases. By 2000, with the internet disrupting business landscapes, he had transitioned into managing marketing and sales processes for Mars Asia Pacific, later delving into consumer insights, product development, and brand management.
As the digital marketing landscape evolved, Ian transitioned into roles with advertising agencies, where he explored digital, social, media buying, and strategy/planning. He engaged with emerging technologies through pilot projects, foreseeing the transformative potential of A.I in fostering personalised learning. The emergence of A.I has created a new career chapter for Ian, where he connects with the best global minds in the pursuit of embracing all that A.I has to offer.
